About Daniel Sher

Daniel Sher was born on March 24, 1993 in Boston, MA.  He spoke his first word "bubble" (very advanced) at the tender age of six months and was speaking in sentences by the time he was a year old.  At twelve years-old, an article was published about Daniel in the Boston Globe detailing his attempts to get the town of Brookline to construct a skate park. In a 2010 interview, Daniel was featured on Boston’s local ABC news station regarding a bomb threat at his high school. The artist is convinced that this was his breakout moment. Daniel graduated from Hampshire College in the spring of 2016 with a degree in Art.  He works across many media including, Photography, Multimedia Installation and Video.  His work focuses on reframing mass culture and media as an interactive and highly customizable experience.  The work explores subjects such as Reality Television, the Paranormal, Religion and Suburban Culture.
